FOREWORD

 

“If we don't want to change, things will change our nature”. This is what Renza Agnelli wrote in her diary notes.

There is no peace in the human soul unless man himself wants it. Marianne Larsen, a Danish poet, writes in her verses dedicated to peace: "If peace has no meaning, how can man want to throw himself into his arms?" It is therefore easy to understand that for there to be peace, you need to feel the need for it, cultivate a sense of peace, water it every day as you do with your flowers on the balcony at your home.

Despite ourselves, we must become aware of the fact that there are men who are builders of peace and others who instigate war. There is no action worse than war. Whoever decides to start a war knows very well that he is sending many people to their deaths and he does this solely and exclusively for his own vain glory: the homeland, the nation, the state or whatever you want to call it have nothing to do with it. Because there is always an alternative to war if you want to find it. Therefore, my firm condemnation against those who attack a free country who are then forced to defend themselves from the aggressor, in turn embracing the rifle to kill individuals who wanted to do nothing else in life than embark on a war without winners or losers. Because in a war, however it ends, the results are always the same: death and destruction on both sides.

The man who should fly high in thought finds himself once again snatching a strip of land from his neighbor, when there is still an entire universe to discover and conquer. Be the wise man and begin to detach yourself from earthly goods and finally turn your spirit to the one who created us. He will be able to show us the right way to achieve the true objectives for which we were created, which is certainly not the art of war, but that of loving.

Love, which is the only authentic strength that allows us to achieve any goal, has always been within us and it is wrong to think that love is a feeling of weakness as the "enlightened men" believe who are so enlightened that they are unable to see even in the dark.

Love and peace compensate each other and it is in this direction that man must look to build a better future for himself and others.

The verbal violence that is so fashionable today leads nowhere: it makes souls drier and deprives them of all sensitivity, unleashing physical violence that leads to the destruction of the individual.

Therefore, love and be loved and peace will always be with you.

PREFAZIONE

 

“Se noi non vogliamo cambiare, saranno le cose a mutare la nostra indole”. Così scriveva Renza Agnelli negli appunti del suo diario.

Non c’è pace nell’animo umano, se non è l’uomo stesso a volerlo. Marianne Larsen, poetessa danese, scrive nei suoi versi dedicati alla pace: “Se la pace non ha senso, come può l'uomo volersi gettare tra le sue braccia?” È dunque facile comprendere che per esserci pace, occorre sentirne il bisogno, coltivare il senso di pace, irrigarla ogni giorno come si fa con i propri Fiori sul balcone di casa.

Nostro malgrado, dobbiamo prendere coscienza del fatto che esistono uomini costruttori di pace e altri fomentatori di guerre. Non c’è azione peggiore della guerra. Chi decide di iniziare una guerra, sa benissimo che manda a morire tante persone e questo lo fa solo ed esclusivamente per la sua vana gloria: la patria, la nazione, lo stato o che dir si voglia non c’entrano niente. Perché c’è sempre un’alternativa alla guerra se la si vuol trovare. Quindi la mia ferma condanna contro chi aggredisce un paese libero che è costretto poi a difendersi dall’aggressore, abbracciando a sua volta il fucile per uccidere individui che nella vita volevano fare altro che imbarcarsi in una guerra senza vincitori né vinti. Perché in una guerra, comunque si concluda, i risultati sono sempre gli stessi: morte e distruzione d’ambo le parti.

L’uomo che dovrebbe volare alto col pensiero, si ritrova ancora una volta a strappare un lembo di terra al vicino, quando c’è ancora un intero universo da scoprire e da conquistare. Sii l’uomo saggio e cominci a staccarsi dai beni terreni e rivolga finalmente il suo spirito a colui che ci ha creati. Egli saprà indicarci la via giusta per raggiungere i veri obiettivi per cui siamo stati creati, che non è sicuramente l’arte di guerreggiare, bensì quella di amare.

L’amore che è l’unica autentica forza che ci consente di conseguire qualsiasi obiettivo è sempre stato dentro di noi ed è sbagliato pensare che l’amore è un sentimento di debolezza come credono gli “illuminati” che sono talmente illuminati da non riuscire a vedere nemmeno al buio.

L’amore e la pace si compensano a vicenda ed è in questa direzione che l’uomo deve guardare per costruire un futuro migliore per sé e per gli altri.

La violenza verbale che oggi va tanto di moda, non porta da nessuna parte: rende gli animi più aridi e li priva di ogni sensibilità, scatenando la violenza fisica che porta alla distruzione dell’individuo.

Amate, quindi, e fatevi amare e la pace sarà sempre con voi.
