SHOONYA – The Celestial Void

 

Panorama International Literature Festival is thematic, where the topics are carefully chosen in order to prepare a writer for meaningful works in their profession. The theme for PILF 2022 is SHOONYA: The Celestial Void.

At times, we experience a sense of void – perhaps when looking at the serene morning skies, watching a beautiful sunset or even when someone leaves us! Often we acknowledge, this is the void from where we have come and where we all return to – nothingness from which everything evolves out! This has been a favorite topic for poets of the bygone and there are a number of classical works inspired by the same sense of void that the writer experienced in some phases in their lives.

Poets are to investigate the depths and unravel mysteries of creation itself, sharing their ideas and conclusions in the form of a poem that will convey their personal approach to this all-time mystery of the beginning of life.
