Global organisation of writers and creators Writers Capital Foundation conducted a virtual event "With you, India" to reassure solidarity with India during the second outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. The programme attended by eminent writers, artists and musicians from across the world, was conducted in association with Indus Scrolls.

India has been an inspiration for the global community in their efforts during the challenging time. The present situation, though appears grim, will once again prove the country’s determination, said noted poet and artist Joan Josep Barcelo during his inaugural address. He said that the global community is with India during difficult times.

Expressing solidarity with India, Irene Doura-Kavadia, Secretary-General of the foundation said that the visuals from India are disturbing. Though a few of the developing country has witnessed a massive outbreak of the pandemic, the impact is more in India due to the absence of basic infrastructure such as oxygen facility. The Secretary-General expressed hope that the global community will continue supporting India for availing proper medical components to effectively managing the situation.

Poetess Johanna Devadayavu expressed the vote of thanks during the programme. Participants from across the world who expressed their solidarity with India also presented their works dedicated to India. Panorama Arts Festival Coordinators and participants also attended alongside the poets in a wish to express their support.
